...This hardbound book by itself is a work of art that is a collector’s dream. Add to that elegance the absolutely one-of-a-kind creative thinking of Christian, who painstakingly researches and builds each story and each prop to breathtakingly high standards, and you have magical content that could keep you inspired and upgrading your magical work for at least a couple of decades.

What a book! I truly enjoyed this thought-provoking book. It is filled with exceptional stories that you can use or adapt, complete with methods within your ability to learn. The key to a truly "magickal" presentation lies in the props, and the ones that Chelman shares with us are an inspiration in and of themselves. Buy this book! David Goodsell - Oracle Magazine
[Hauntiques] is one of the most beautiful and professionally produced books around. And it does have some really great effects in it. I'm totally speechless: it's an amazingly beautiful book and I'm quite loving it; many of the effects can be tweaked and changed to suit me. Shouldn't that be what we do with books like this? Mark Raven
Wow. This is an absolutely gorgeous book. I am in awe. [...] I don't know what to say other than every effect is a work of art. I am just aghast at the creativity in creating the effects around these artifacts. Christian's sharing of this material is a true gift. [T]his book is watching a master at work. Beg, borrow whatever you must, but get this quickly. This is a classic. Clifford the Red
If you are interested in bizarre magic, Hauntiques is a book you must have. It is that important. Order it immediately before supplies run out. Bill Fienning
Only read through the first chapter so far... WHAT A BOOK!!! I had to stop often and think for a good while about what I had just read. Even after the first effect, the inspiration had already begun to send me into a spin. I also love the way the book is layed out and illustrated. Easily the most inspiration I have found since Borodin's books. Al Straker
Hauntiques is out! Marco Pusterla has done a magnificent job. A big book with lots of color photographs throughout (this accounts for the price). I think every magician who's interested in bizarre magick will want a copy! Richard Kaufman
Run, do not walk to get yourself an early Holiday gift: Christian Chelman's long awaited book: "HAUNTIQUES.". Finally out and in gorgeous color, this has to be THE book on ghostly magick and its art - and Christian has truly taken what we do (if you are a story teller who takes pride in every detail of your presentation) to the zone of a pure Artform in every way. Mark Edward
And what a handsome volume [Hauntiques] is. With 148 colour photos of eerie-looking props Chelman has carefully assembled, if your interest is the bizarre this book could be inspiring. There is much to recommend, including a magnificent explanation of 'The Endless Loop', also called 'Fast and Loose' or 'Pricking the Garter' and, while the routine can be found elsewhere, the accompanying photos are invaluable for learning purposes. Also included are a number of good forces and some graphics with which to make your own strange artefacts. This is a book the bizarrists amongst you will want to own. It has been lovingly produced.
